Q1: What is Price Cut Review?
Q2: How often is the site updated?
Q3: Will non-Amazon items be listed soon?
Q4: Why is the price sometimes different when I go to Amazon's main site?
Q5: On the image for some items it shows the percentage discount. Sometimes this is less than 50% - why is that?

Q1: What is Price Cut Review?
A1: Price Cut Review is a price comparison site. We list items available from online retailer Amazon that are currently on sale for half of the recommended retail price (RRP) or less.

PriceCutReview.com has been covered in the press by

  • Fool.co.uk [1]
  • Fool.com [2]
  • ProgrammableWeb [3]
  • Web User magazine [4]
  • MoneyMagPie.com [5]
  • London School of Economics newsletter, Tembo [6]
Q2: How often is the site updated?
A2: Prices are revised and new items are added daily. The most notable of these are added to the "Top Picks" - shown on the Amazon US and Amazon UK front pages. Although this site makes bargain hunting easier, you'll still have to search around a bit to find what you want. If you have any ideas for how we can make this easier, please share them with us!

Q3: Will non-Amazon items be listed soon?
A3: Possibly. Price Cut Review has only been going since May 2007 and there are already a lot of deals to find on Amazon!

Q4: Why is the price sometimes different when I go to Amazon's main site?
A4: Amazon do change their prices from time to time, sometimes very frequently. We try to keep our listings updated daily though!

Q5: On the image for some items it shows the percentage discount. Sometimes this is less than 50% - why is that?
A5: Items can usually either be purchased brand new or via 3rd party sellers. The lower of the two (usually the 3rd party's) is the one we use to calculate whether you can purchase something for half price or less.
